September 2th

My secretary forcibly dragged me to the hospital in the tenement. She told the mayor about my condition and I began to hate them, their initiatives made me look like a minor who couldn't take care of himself. I had various tests done and the doctor asked me to describe the level of headache and irritability; I said that aspirin wasn't helping and that I had tried other medications. The doctor said he would have to re-evaluate.

September 3th

The doctor gave me a shot of morphine and told me to use it when I was at my worst situation. Then I was advised to take a leave of absence, and that my job at the Justice Department might be the source of my agitation. I said I didn't need a vacation. The doctor said no one else was to be told about the morphine. I said that's for sure.
